Paul Andrew is parting ways together with his many consulting partnerships with a purpose to deal with his namesake men’s and women’s label and new publish as the creative director of women’s sneakers at Salvatore Ferragamo.

A famous multitasker, Andrew has lengthy been juggling his personal brand — bought at shops including Bergdorf Goodman and United Arrows — whereas designing sneakers in a consulting capability for labels including By way of Spiga, Diane von Furstenberg, Narciso Rodriguez and Carolina Herrera.

“I’ve really stopped every part. I will solely be concentrating on Paul Andrew men’s and women’s and Ferragamo,” Andrew informed WWD at his spring 2017 presentation, held at Ramscale Studios.

“The spring season would be the last for everyone, there have been plenty of great brands that I have great relationships with, from Via Spiga and also DVF, Carolina Herrera, Narciso Rodriguez. It’s a brand new time, they’ve all been so incredibly supportive,” he added.

Andrew is to be Ferragamo’s first inventive director solely dedicated to women’s sneakers. The Italian label formally introduced his appointment on Thursday, revealing that his first designs will hit stores for the pre-fall 2017 season.

Andrew mentioned he has but to get right down to the nitty-gritty of how Ferragamo women’s sneakers will take form under his watch.

“It’s only been introduced in the past few days.
